Callies Ultra XD connecting rods are configured to provide greater flexibility in cam selection for your stroker engine build. Their canted housings allow a larger lobe/base circle/lift camshaft to be selected. Callies Ultra XD connecting rods provide greater rod to cam clearance to improve valvetrain performance. In most cases, Ultra XD rods will provide approximately .050 in. more cam clearance than Callies conventional Ultra rods, and substantially more than many competitors’ rods. These rods are machined from premium Timken 4330 steel and are intended for severe-duty applications.
